In October 1967, Great Barton CEVC Primary School moved from two Victorian buildings into the new building in School Road, which has been occupied by the school for 50 years and is now occupied by Great Barton Primary Academy.
It is interesting to learn that 50 years ago, following a discussion at a PTA Meeting about safety concerns, Mr Ron Ceurstemont, the head teacher, wrote this letter to parents.
